Manchin to Speak at Convention
West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin is getting a prime-time speaking spot during next week's Democratic National Convention in Denver.

Manchin is chairman of the Democratic Governors Association. He is scheduled to speak Tuesday.

Wonder if he's going to discuss his support of organizations that fought against Dem candidates (i.e., Democrats for Underwood)?

1. I have always had a problem with this man.....
but then, i have always had a problem with politics in WV in general. Once again i will be holding my nose as I cast my vote.....

I'm not sure why they would give him a prime time slot. WV is not a battleground state.
a woman called out to

Adlai E Stevenson 'Senator, you have the vote of every thinking person!'

Stevenson called back 'That's not enough, madam, we need a majority!'

5. I am being kind
I had a friend who worked at a motel in Nitro maybe or somewhere down that way and he said that A James would bring his boys in

I also had a run-in with him

I was living in Charleston at the time and was working at the mall.

I was walking home-lived in the East End

I noticed that this big black car was following me and I had no clue what was going on

I went down a side street and the car followed me. By this time, I was starting to get nervous

The car pulled to the curb and the window was rolled down

I HAD to see who it was-it was A James

6. That must have been SOP for him
A friend of a friend had that happen in Fairmont. In Marion County, it was an open secret that AJ's son-in-law started out as his boy toy.

3. I noticed that the crowd was not too impressed with Joe's
oratory prowess. Maybe it was because of the crowd's olfactory prowess.

The thing about his daughter takes the cake!
