Hermening announces bid for state Senate
Wausau Daily Herald • January 6, 2010

Hermening, 50, owns a financial planning and investment advisory firm and also served more than 10 years on the Mosinee School Board. He is currently the treasurer of the Republican Party of Marathon County.

Hermening will be running against Republicans Pam Galloway of Wausau and Jimmy Boy Edming of Glen Flora. Bert Nitzke of Rib Mountain filed for candidacy as a Republican, but he told the Wausau Daily Herald he will not run for the seat because he works for the state of Wisconsin.
