A question for Wisconsin bargaining unit members |
Being someone that travels about 200 miles a day on northeastern Wisconsin roads, with a blizzard coming through tomorrow, is the bargaining unit expecting a job action on Monday, and roads will be left au natural? If someone has information on this it would be helpful, and I can begin cancelling and re-scheduling Monday, Tuesday and ... appointments.

1. Frankly, I hope they are left covered... |
I know it may be a great inconvenience to you but people need to be made aware how much is done for them by the hard working union employees in this state.

2. Everyone knows there is a Winter Storm Warning out |
There is no doubt the public safety employees will be doing their job.
That said, you can expect that Union and Union Supporters will maintain their presence in Madison and other cities. The nature of being in jobs that provide service 24/7 is that some will not be on duty on Monday.

4. I met a union worker in Madison today who plows snow |
(not in the Madison area) and I asked him if he would be working tomorrow to clear the storm. And he said even though tomorrow his his sabbath day and his union rights are in jeopardy he most definitely would be working to clear the snow, because it is a matter of public safety.

5. In my humble opinion..... |
The snow plow drivers and equipment operators should prioritize operations and concentrate services on districts represented by the fourteen state senators in Rockford. Unfortunately I live in a district represented by one of the drooling Lesees.
