TMJ4 election coverage
I was flipping channels last night and the difference was really there: TMJ4 was so tilted to the right! It was Prosser this, Prosser that, how many more votes does Prosser need, etc etc. Yikes--I never realized. But then I remembered how TMJ radio is--RW talking heads all day. So I guess.

By a funny contrast, FOX6 local news was a lot more fair. CBS58 didn't last very long--went into other news and then back to sitcoms. WISN 12 I didn't watch as much because I don't like the anchors. Seems that 12 and 4 have the larger budgets for news though, followed by 6. CBS58 is always on the cheap end of the news budget.

1. TMJ4 was also the one lying about where recall signatures
TMJ4 was also the one lying about where recall signatures could be collected.

They ran a report that said 100ft, and even videoed their guy chalking a 100 foot line. Of course anyone who spent more than 30 seconds looking into it, or asking a poll worker knew that recall sigs could be collected up to 10ft from the entrance to the polling place, as long as nothing on the ballot was mentioned.

When called on it, they were, apparently very rude and condescending.

2. Notice the photo of Abele on the front page of the J-S
Of all the hundreds of photos their photographer undoubtedly took, the one they printed captures him with his mouth open in an unflattering pose. A little bit here, a little bit there, maybe it will all add up when he has to run again next year.

3. ...But, ...but ... but
the Urinal *endorsed* Abele...

..taking a free shot on a sure thing. So they can endorse a Thug, next time, when it's a closer election.

4. maybe the paper is different than the TV and radio stations.
They have endorsed Dems in the paper--the editorial board has. But I hate, hate, hate the cartoon on the editorial page--always bashing Dems.

5. I thought the endorsement was rather backhanded
bringing up all Abele's indiscretions in the first few paragraphs.
