Just saw the results, both called as winners tonight! With surprisingly large margins too. Makes any efforts statewide look pretty good. If these two districts (esp. Holperins) can be this blue in January, and the R recall districts can stay as close as they were in the recall elections then a Walker recall really could happen!
Woohoo!

2. I can't believe that Simac got over 20,000 votes. |

The woman is wacko. Thank God that Holperin won.

3. I bet if one looks under all the rocks in District 12 one will find 20K NEOCONS |
|
The count from AP says 24,069 and I'm sure that will go up some when all the precincts are counted. Maybe her NEOCON teabaggers voted multiple times! :sarcasm: Their reputation of dishonesty precedes them!

4. Great news & thanks to all who helped/donated to the recalls! |
|
Yes, we all know 3 was The Number, but taking 2 and getting voting data in these districts is still excellent. That data can be used to target further. (And, yes, it's also disturbing that over 24K, with 95% precincts reporting, voted for Kooky Kim.)
There will be much backlash now, including "look at all the money THEY spent that we don't have--we can't do that again with more recalls--leave Scott alone" from Walker & Co.

6. Fitz brothers are in super red areas |
|
Some of us would have to move there to achieve a recall.

I am not moving to a red area ... I think I would last about an hour before they formed a lynching party! :hide:

9. Then let's make sure they remember THEY started it |
|
They started the recall game. They were the first ones to begin the process against WI Senators when they started recalling the eligible members of the Fab 14.
Of course projection and hypocricy run deep with rethugs. But let's not let them forget that they started it.

8. DailyKos predicted Dem wins by 10% |
|
When I read that it really encouraged me but than I thought Kos is pretty liberal. Turns out they were right on!
Hooray for Wisconsin!
