A series of four statues depicting the gait of Terry Fox running on his artificial leg have been unveiled. Artist Douglas Coupland says his statues mean that hundreds of years from now, people will be reminded of Fox's legacy.

1. Well deserved
Just saw the remake of the Terry Fox story again today. He possessed the kind of characteristics and spirit that all Canadians should have. I think tomorrow is the annual Terry Fox run, such an unbelievable achievement after 31 years.

2. Yes, he's left an amazing legacy, even the youngest children are taught
of his run and take part in school events. I wanted to take part in the Weyburn run tomorrow, but have to work in the afternoon and it's a couple of hours to get there. We did raise some good money to send on, though.

3. Yes, every school my kids have been in
several schools in 2 different provinces - they always do the Terry Fox run every year. I was 7 when Terry Fox died, and we didn't do any runs but I'm glad someone came up with the idea to hold it in schools. My kids know everything about Terry Fox's legacy. It's a great legacy.
