Anybody here see "48 Hours Mystery" Saturday night? |
|
It was on the CBS network.
I don't know if you blokes and sheilas :-) get that show or not.
Anyway, about a serial killer, but the interesting thing was a young woman who was gone about 4 years, believed murdered by this man, and come to find out after all those years, she was alive and living in the same town with her boyfriend.
That young woman and her family must have had some SERIOUS problems. Has there been anything in the media about that, I mean, relating to why would she do such a crazy, cruel thing?

There is a current enquiry going on, and she and her boyfriend could be fined thousands of dollars for fraudulently causing waste of police man-hours.
Nothing has come out about the family dynamics, and I don't know whether she's really disturbed or just not very bright (I get the impression it may be the latter). Nor is it clear what she was trying to achieve.
Her father even had a memorial service for her, believing she was dead.
Edit: typing mistake
