1. This report gets to the heart of the problem, unlike his earlier report.
If this program could be shown to the general public, there could be a real chance of restoring our democracy.

The Netherlands, Germany, & Ireland now have scrapped the machines because of security concerns.

THIS IS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY. THIS IS COLD HARD FACTS.

I don't know what you remember from the earlier report, but it implicated Sequoia Voting Systems as a primary CAUSE of the FL 2000 Bush v. Gore debacle. You don't think that's the heart of the matter????

Were it not for their alleged deliberate provision of sub-standard punch cards, we might not have had the Bush Presidency, HAVA, or the continued misinterpretation of HAVA. Certainly the butterfly ballot confused enough voters to make that election close as well, but if all the votes could have been counted, Gore would have won and the world might be a very different place today.

In New York, we saw at least one similar fraudulent attempt to discredit an existing voting system by falsely inflating some undervote rates in 2008 in the same county in which Sequoia managed to divest themselves of their lever voting machine business around the same time they were engineering the FL 2000 debacle to create demand for new electronic machines.

So there seems to be a pattern of deliberate manipulation of election results to create demand for new voting systems. Unfortunately, one side-effect of this is that the wrong guy got elected to the Presidency in 2000!

BTW, I bet ES&S made a pretty penny when the 2006 FL CD-13 debacle resulted in the switch from DRE to optical scan in that state. Yet FL still does not AUDIT their elections effectively, so they are not much better off. (There were much higher overvote rates in 2008!)

4. I agree with what you say, but I still think
this program is a stronger argument against the voting machines. I don't recall now the proof that was given for the bad punch cards, but it seemed a little hazy to me at the time and relied on worker tesetimony. I believe what was done was almost certainly illegal and criminal as indicated, just didn't think the proof was that obvious. Also the discussion of ES&S's contracting out the production of its machines to the Philippines just sounded like a way to produce crappy machines and not deliberate efforts to steal elections, which I think has been happening for at least 10 years. Showing that the machines are really not Constitutional in Germany and are just blatantly un-verifiable I think is a stronger argument. I also thought using the Greene election as part of a personal effort to find out more about the voting machines in SC was very good. I just can't see how that result can be explained in any other way. It seems to me that Greene was planted by some of De Mint's rabble, maybe w/o DM's knowledge but probably with him fully aware of it, and then one of this cabal was able himself or able to get an ES&S technician to hack or program the machines so as to produce the result. It might have been Urosevic himself who did it. I feel absolutely certain that he knows about the fraud that has been perpetrated on the American people and is in fact probably the worst political criminal in American history.

Still, you might be right. Maybe there's more evidence in the earlier program and more ways to try to stop these machines from being used.

Thanks for all you're doing to make people aware of this outrage. Until the vote is transparent again in the US, there's no way we can legitimately claim to be a democracy.
