"A Hundred in the Hand"....The Fetterman mascare from Lakata perspective |
|
If you like Plains Tribes stories like Lakota and Chenyen then read this nice little book. I found it on the library shelf by accident (lucky me) and put all my other books aside to read it. Sometimes seems a little disjointed, but a good read. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51YOfsTQtPL._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-dp-500-arrow,TopRight,45,-64_OU01_AA240_SH20_.jpg

He has a sequal to this book "The Long Knives Are Crying" which is about the Battle of the Bighorn but it's not out yet. I love Crazy Horse and read the book by Sandoz years ago. I even got a children's book about him for my daughter when she was a wee one of 4 years old.
On edit: Rats, it's nowhere to be found except on an audio cd.
