My husband and I are going to Maui in a week and I'd like to bring along a good read set in Maui if possible. Any suggestions?

4. I read it many years ago |

It is very good. I'm hoping to find something a little lighter to read on this trip. A nice whodunnit would be great. :)

I went to high school in Honolulu (class of 68)and we would take the cheap flight to Maui to surf. Awesome beauty. Go to the top of Haleakala (volcano), drink in Lahaina by the ocean, drive to Hana. Try some Maui Wowie! God, I'm jealous. You won't have time for a book.

We love the trip to Hana and hope to snorkel everyday. Even if I don't have time to read at the beach, I'll need something to read on the 6 hour flight. :)

Try something written by Maui born author, Armine Von Tempsky. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armine_von_TempskiHer works are published by Oxbow Press. http://www.oxbowpress.net/author/Hawaiiana.htmI can not vouch for how good they are though, as I have never read any of them.
