How it began....
I look forward to DUgosh's weekly "What are your reading.." list and have found so many good books on it. Late Saturday night or Sunday mornig, it's the first thing I check on my computer. I wondered when it started and found this post...

I don't know when or why Killarney quit posting the weekly list, but am grateful that DUgosh picked up on it.

Please do not "Rec" this post. The posts that deserve it are the weekly lists that we all take advantage of in one way or another. Like in the real world, no one actually gives a damn what we are reading and this list invites anyone to share their opinion.

Anyway, thanks to Killarney and DUgosh for their faithful service to and for us. Oops, almost fell getting off my soapbox.

1. I wouldn't say "no one actually gives a damn..."
I always look at what you're reading, because we seem to have some overlapping tastes in storytelling. :)

I saw in that thread the names of some people don't participate in this forum much any more. I think babylonsister is the one who turned me on to Nelson DeMille (which in turn led me to Brian Haig). Great place to pick up some new recommendations when you think you've finished off all of your favorites.

I also look for the weekly list as soon as I come to work on Sunday mornings; thanks to DUgosh for your dedication to posting it (and to fadedrose for always encouraging participation).
