reading "Talking Hands" by Margalit Fox
About Sign Languages in general, and more specifically, Bedouins Al-Sayyid Sign Language, which is a naturally-evolved Sign Language spoken in one remote Bedouin village in Israel that has a high rate of congenital deafness.

It's very well-written, and very interesting. A lot of information about the varities of Sign Languages, and why this particular case is so interesting.

EDIT: I'm going to read your book just because you were cool enough to reply. (and because it was recommended by a smart guy who I trust.)

4. Isn't that just the coolest?
It made my day. I'm sorry I didn't see her response earlier.

But I reiterate how good the book is. I learned a LOT.
