Confessions Of An Economic Hit Man |
Anyone reading/read this? Insane, if true. I mean it talks about everything we THINK is going on behind the scenes, but then thought maybe we're just paranoid. I can't say if it's factually correct as I wasn't there to witness it, but I do believe it. I found the book on sale at Costco and could not put it down. An amazing story, especially if it's true. dumpbush

1. why wouldn't it be true? |
The book has been out for a few years now and no one has come forward to accuse him of lying. It is a great read and anyone who any misty notions about freemarket capitalism should be forced to read it and turn in a detailed essay.

3. Great book, I saw Perkins speak this past fall |
I read Confessions and had the chance to hear John Perkins speak this fall. I wrote about it on my blog at http://commoniowan.blogspot.com/2007/11/thanksgiving-leftovers-confessions-of.html. His speech was really amazing. I then bought his 2nd book and am not quite finished. It is just as good as Confessions and offers some hope at the end.
