40 years of Monty Python

Monty Python was first aired on British television screens on October 5 1969. Famous for the ministry of silly walks and the dead parrot sketch, the legacy of the series lives on.

One of my favorite British creations. I've probably seen the Holy Grail 50 times, I lost count.

2. I liked the interplanetary blancmange
that changed all Britain's champion tennis players into Scotsmen so it could win Wimbledon.

There were some seriously diseased minds at work on that show. I like that.

3. One of my favorites
Was the mafia trying to run a protection racket on the army by making veiled threats to Colonel StopIt. "Be a shame if anything happened to those tanks, wouldn't it?"
