Live Action Movie Review - Hell of the Living Dead |
|
Country of origin: Italy
Year: 1980
Genre: Zombie
Story: A chemical explosion in New Guinea creates a zombie plague. A SWAT team and a pair of journalists investigate the situation.
Acting: Laughable.
Humor: Lots of unintentional humor.
Violence: Lots of gory zombie violence.
Sex: Just some breasts.
Overall: Very reminiscent of Dawn of the Dead, but not half as good. The music is done by Goblin, and seems to use many, or perhaps even all, of the musical pieces used in Dawn of the Dead. Awesome movie for zombie fans, but others may wish pass this one by. Zombie fans should definitely check this one out.

I think I first saw this under the name Zombie Inferno back in the early 80's when video stores were flooded with all this stuff. Those were good days.
I agree with your take on this. It's not a good movie, but zombie hounds will get some pleasure from it. :)
