out of curiosity.
Um...honestly, I didn't like it, but please bear in mind that I am hypercritical about movies, especially "chick flicks". I consider watching them "research" to inform me what to do--and what not to do--with my own chick lit novels.
I thought the premise was not very believable, the hero an empty suit (he's really good looking in a cookie-cutter way but is an absolute indecisive WIMP that I'd put through a wall if he did to me what he did to the heroine), and some of the other characters just dumb (and not in a goofy chick flick way).
However, I thought Ginnifer Goodwin (the main character) was adorable, and supporting dude John Krazinsky was hilarious--he had all the good lines. I've always liked him since the first season of The Office, and I think he made the most of his role in the movie.
I'd say the movie is Mostly Harmless. Definitely not One for the Ages. ;)
