God's Approval Rating Is Down
According to the Harper's Index, only 52% of Americans approve of God's job performance.

The question I have is how 48% of Americans suddenly got the chutzpah to judge God in the first place. Has the OWS movement helped them to finally see that he is a member of the 1%? Have they given up their belief that he is omnipotent and infallible? Are they ready to occupy Heaven until he does a better job?

3. God is the 1%... I like that
gonna steal from Fire Walk With Me on the front page and change the word "corporate" to "religious" see if this stuff applies...

· the pervasive influence of lobbyists throughout government (can't get elected unless you swear fealty to the almighty invisible one)

· the awarding of public contracts to private politically and economically connected interests (let's go with tax exemptions for religions, no more of that)

· the dependency and predominance of the public Electoral process on private and religious funding (maybe not funding, but they do allow them to govern the way other people live just because of what's written in an ancient guidebook to goat herding)

· commonplace legislative action blatantly prejudicial to the public interest and grossly beneficial to favored religious interests (again, laws based on religious fervor and not truth justice and the American way, circumvent the rights of the individual, and restrain social and technological/medical progress so a bunch of selfish bible-thumping assholes can FEEL BETTER is counterproductive and clearly prejudicial to public interest.)

· the elevation of religions to the legal status of persons (actually they are FAR more untouchable than that)

· wars waged in the interest of religious profits. (sub profits with beliefs and I'm in)
