From LBN: Suspect in Dodger Stadium beating of Bryan Stow is in custody
L.A. Times / May 22, 2011

A man suspected of being one of the two assailants in the brutal beating of Giants fan Bryan Stow at Dodger Stadium was taken into custody early this morning, Los Angeles police sources say.

At about 7 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team descended on an East Hollywood apartment building with a warrant in hand. According to apartment building manager Maritza Camacho, police, using loudspeakers and with guns drawn, called out to the occupants of Apartment 25. Inside was one of the men police suspect in the March 31 beating that left Stow with brain damage.

As residents of the three-story building stood watching from balconies, police removed, one by one, the people who were inside the apartment, according to Camacho. Among them was a man with a bald head and tattoos on his neck and arms, she said, a description that appeared to match the vague sketches released by police of one of the two suspects. She added that he did not appear to resist being taken into custody.

Several police sources confirmed that the man taken into custody was one of the two suspects in the beating.

If they got one guy they'll get the other. I wonder how they got him?

1. Good...a parole officer's tip..
first off, lets hope this the right guy. If he his, he should be ratting out the others in short order. The cops still need to arrest the other assailant plus the girlfiend/wife or whatever, who drove the getaway car..

A parole officer's tip paved the way for the arrest of one of two main suspects in the Dodger Stadium parking-lot beating of a San Francisco Giants fan, the Los Angeles police chief said in a Sunday press conference at the stadium where the incident occurred.

The Associated Press reported that police chief Charlie Beck confirmed Sunday that one of the two men suspected of attacking Giants fan Bryan Stow on Opening Day was taken into custody early Sunday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Giovanni Ramirez, 31, was being held on $1 million bail, police said in a statement.

--------

This week, police announced they were also looking to identify a woman who helped the attackers escape by driving them away. The driver was described as a Latina woman in her 20s, standing about 5-foot-2. She had brown or dyed hair worn in a ponytail, and was wearing a white Andre Ethier jersey. She was reportedly driving a white four-door sedan with a boy, about 10 years old, in the vehicle.

by new/additional tattoos on the suspect's neck that had been added to disguise those that witnesses remember.

3. Seems like it wasn't the right guy
Right guy for parole violation but police still looking for two suspects.

The reason why I am kicking this old thread is because there is a new video out.
