Inconsistent offense with too many holes in the lineup...Crawford....Lackey....September Saltalamacchia.....slumping Bard

Mostly to me it starts with Francona - he hasn't steered the team through the September slump at all - questionable tactics all over the place.

As a Sox fan since 67, I am sick about it....but not surprised. The Red Sox tend to attract epic, historical events - both good and bad!
