3. Cincinnati has a winning record so far this year! Un-f-ing-believable. |

Guess maybe Carson Palmer and Ocho-whatever may have been the problem??

Ernie Harwell used to called them the Bengals as an alternate name. Look it up.

baseball is played on a diamond.
Of course, in the case of bottom-feeders like the Orioles and Pirates, it might as well be cubic zirconia. :P

Several years ago, who would have ever thought you might see a Texas-Milwaukee World Series! Stranger things have happened.
I'd love to see a Pirates-Orioles WS some day!!

on what looked for all the world like a routine sac fly, the Gee Dubyas would now be the ones staring down the barrel of elimination.

Maybe a pinch runner was in order?
I also thought it was a big mistake to sweat the runner on first with a young pitcher on the mound. Just let the kid throw strikes. In the end the error throwing to first was what let the Rangers tie the game. I actually think "watching managers think" is among the least appealing aspects of baseball... especially when managers overdo it!

11. It should have been on Cabrera. The error, that is. |
|
They lost that game because of Cabrera, not Porcello.
