1. Palmer is playing well -- no surprise that he was shaky last time out
But the Broncos, surprisingly, are still in the game -- and just got an interception :woohoo:

4. getting help from his recievers -- Eddie Royal returns a kickoff for a go-ahead TD
:woohoo:

As a Broncos fan, I want the win, of course, but then again I don't want the team to get the idea that Tebow really is the answer. He's been better today, and the two TD passes were very nice, but he's still under 50% completion percentage and under 6 yards per attempt.

9. well, the Broncos are going to win today, AsahinaKimi, but
the West is clearly wide open and none of the teams has been consistent at all, so your Raiders still have a good shot at the division, I think. We'll have to see if the Chargers get hot.

6. Well... Denver kicked Oakland's ass in the 2nd half
Running game and special teams. And the Raiders had their usual rally-killing penalties on offense.

BUT, Palmer looked sharp. The INT was a fluke. I'm glad they got him.

Nice but strange game.. I think the Raiders (4-4) are in a three way tie in first place in their division..Go on the Road next..

10. Chargers still have a shot to upset the Packers today
7 down with 50 seconds left. If they win, they'll be in the lead, but if they lose, it will be a three-way tie between KC, Oakland, and SD. And Denver will only be a game back :)

11. Shit! We, er, I mean the Broncos are only one game out of first!
All the other AFC West teams lost.

BTW, St. Timothy was only sacked once.

19. Raiders mis-played the read-option despite
studying and practicing against it all week. "I'm sick to my stomach," said Richard Seymour.

"They have been running the same thing since they put (Tebow) in there," defensive tackle Tommy Kelly said. "They (were) running that college (stuff), that zone (stuff), read it, quarterback gonna hold it (sighs). Man, we practiced that (stuff) all week.

"They out-executed us," Raiders head coach Hue Jackson said. "That's disappointing. ... We're not a very intelligent team right now."

Jackson was referring to players jumping out of their gaps and not staying where they were supposed to be when Tebow ran. And he was talking about stupid penalties, as the Raiders had 15 total penalties for 130 yards - after they had 14 for 120 in their last game, the 28-0 loss to the Chiefs before the bye week.

They had the game and let it slip away.
