911: Does anyone have the text of this poem |
|
Sharon Oles, "The magician suspends the children"
I believe it's a sestina and no longer have a copy. It's not anywhere on line.
If any of you do, I'd be very grateful to have it.
Thanks, Beth

2. I think it might be ' Carole Oles' |
|
I don't have a copy of it, though.
Are you near a college or university? Their Undergraduate or Graduate English Department is very likely to have a copy if you can scoot over there.

6. You're right. I mushed Sharon Olds together with Carole Oles. |
|
And, have been sort of having to let go of my personal library for years now. (arrgh!)
My only real gripe in life is not having a text at hand withing 120 seconds of needing it.
Thank you, Beth

I don't know the exact reason you are out poem-hunting tonight, but I love you for it.
We need more people out poem-hunting, not fewer. Good for you!

May 2 as "mission NOT accomplished day. And I've been posting poetry to the thread because, that's just the way I think. (Hope I didn't scare anyone off, lol!) That probably makes no sense whatsoever. :) http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=3476986&mesg_id=3476986&page=
