Writing Ficion by Barnaby Conrad
A few weeks ago I posted that I was "stuck" and someone recommended this book.My local library had it and I've been reading it. Great book.
Also, several people suggested that I just start writing and don't stop.
Well I took that advice and have written 6864 word of a story and show no inclination to quit.
Thanks to all.

2. Is it the Complete Guide to Writing Fiction?
I posted it in one of the threads in this forum. I absolutely LOVE LOVe LOVE that book.

It has so many great points I think about now to rev me up-- the dialogue, the writing romance part...all of it! I need to re-read parts of it again. I'm a bit stalled. Thanks to batboy for giving me some good ideas on Sunday!

Congrats on your progress! That's great!

3. complete guide
yes. I just finished it and wished there was more. Thinking about going to the Santa Barbara Writing conference next year.It would be fun to meet some of the people he mentions (if they are still there).By then I should have something completed. Do you know anyone who ever attended it?

I've been thinking about going as well! It sounds like a once in a lifetime experience.

5. where do you live?
Have you been writing for a long time? I checked the website, and details have not yet been announced for 2005.
