e-publishing: Anyone know anything about it? Anyone know where to look?

I'm looking at a big leap into e-publishing for nonfiction material, and I'm a total newb.

Has anyone done any? Does anyone know where to go to learn about it?

1. There are actually TOO many choices nowadays, IMHO....

If you want to PM me more specifics as to the subject matter, perhaps I could help direct you to a more reputable company for e-publishing.

There are also tons of websites where one may learn about e-publishing and self-publishing, as well as traditional publishing for that matter.

I like Absolute Write for the entry-level learning process. You can learn a lot about different things pertaining to the publishing industry and writing in general here:

He's been keeping tabs on publishers since at least 2003 (I think earlier) - huge list and last updated in August 2009!
