Challenge to so-called "Pro Life" demonstrators

If you stand outside a clinic trying to persuade women not to go in, you should each offer to adopt one of the babies. And you musn't be particular about the baby's race or physical condition, either. I don't think we'll have too many volunteers, do you?

I always tell them to work towards making a world so wonderful no woman would want an abortion, but had every right to do so if they wished instead of making public asses of themselves.

They don't understand that the society that we live in does not allow for people to just pop 'em out and to live fullfilling lives at the same time.

Actually, they claim to care about babies, but you'd never know it to see all the post-natal children's health programs cut.

My proposal is for all of these judgemental neo-cons to place their names in a lottery before they can stand outside a clinic harassing patients. Every time someone is dissuaded from aborting, a name is drawn and that person becomes the recipient of the zygote/embryo/fetus and must continue to carry it to term.

If someone refuses this involuntary service or biology prevents them from participating, they can't be a sidewalk harasser.

They aren't there to save the babies, only to force the women to carry them. They want no part of supporting the babies financially or personally (hence all of the cuts to social programs to women and dependent children). They just want to control womens' lives.

The most prevalent reason a woman gives for getting an abortion is inability to afford raising a child, yet the PL faction never considers making it possible for her to afford that child. I wonder why.
