Here's the kicker: A hardcore anti-abortion group called "Survivors" is coming to "crash" the event. Even more reason for progressive-minded people to be there!

as well as those of us who are parents of that generation. My two daughters, PLANNED and wanted, are not "survivors" of anything. I sent them this link. They were horrified by it.

2. I'm a little insulted myself

I've survived life without my mother because a safe legal abortion was not available to her in 1964. She died trying to abort herself.

I'll be there on Thursday with Pushed To The Left and my 13 year old daughter. I hope other DUers from the area can join us.
