Choice folks (I b 1) argue that a woman should be able to do
with her body as she sees fit.  Here is the question.  Do you
out there feel prostitution should be decriminalized? 
Explain.

1. You can't decriminalize criminal indifference.

You're also ignoring a lot of damage done by prostitution. Everything from the spread of disease to the breaking up of families and individual relationships to the very victimization of so many of the prostitutes and their clients themselves.
The question is, would decriminalizing mean less people in jail similar to decriminalizing marijuana, or would the costs I just mentioned be too high? I realize prostitution is legal in some areas, but I also believe other areas just couldn't handle it without it blowing up into a disaster.

Perhaps your question might be appropriate in the Women's Rights forum.

If you do (edit - put a post in that forum), I'd suggest that someone proposing an analogy offer some reasons for saying that two things are similar, and make some effort to acknowledge differences that might operate to make dissimilar treatment appropriate.

You could start with the fact that prostitution has effects on a society.

But in my opinion, this question is not appropriate for this forum, unless you have something to say to show its relevance here.

I see ur point to an extent, however, the subject of FREEDOM on the 2 subjects overlap. I picked this forum due to the fact that I wanted play from choice folks. I am not a troll, I am sincere. And I do not respect inconsistence. I will try again in the woman's rights forum. For the record, I am A Democrat, liberal and believe in all people's rights, not just women. I do not have any use for the Christianist Right. There should not even be a question about reproductive rights for either sex.

I don't think anybody really cares whether you respect "inconsistency" or not. A primary reason would be that the "inconsistency" is your assertion, and not one that anyone else has to agree with.

The aim of your post was obvious on its face.


Whatever men's "reproductive rights" are, I've never noticed anyone trying to violate them.

Women's reproductive rights are fundamental human rights. They aren't open for discussion.

Men's "right" to buy and sell women is not in the same hemisphere.

Perhaps you will receive a warmer welcome in the women's rights forum. I hope not.

Aren't we snippy. Lol, just as I thought. Btw, men don't "buy" a woman (exception slavory pimps, another subject) I refer to independent contractors that sell themselves. Men pay them to leave in a contractural relationship afterward. The only question is why is it against the law? Separation of church and state? Oldest profession! Still with us?
