The History of Weed Part 1 of 5...
Edited on Fri Feb-22-08 09:44 PM by wildbilln864
video link.
Mankind has made use of this amazing plant for nearly ten thousand years until recently we have allowed corporations to rob us of it's many benefits.
One plant that can produce paper, textiles, medicine, fuel, and food.

9. Decriminalization
I am a selected representative for my local county precinct. We hold our county wide democratic caucus meeting today. At the local caucus, earlier this month, I introduced decriminalization of pot as an item to be placed on the state democratic platform. My proposal was voted on and won by 35 to 3.
Your post is timely and will help me gather additional information to present this morning.
Thanks!
I would mention that the recent issue of the New Yorker has a commentary by Hendrik Hertzberg noting some of the more obvious problems with our current relationship to the weed. Check it out at www.newyorker.com
