a/k/a Tommy Chong - a documentary
http://www.hulu.com/watch/228079/aka-tommy-chong

great documentary. I have so much respect for this talented performer after watching this.

In the midst of a new "war on terror," Ashcroft and the sniveling sycophant Mary Beth Buchanan wasted $12 million dollars going after people selling bongs. 55 people were charged - Tommy Chong was the ONLY person without a prior criminal history who received jail time. He was targeted by the Attn. General's office. why? Because he made money satirizing people who smoked a lot of pot - and then made money selling smoking accessories.

If you want to know why the WoD is a failure - watch this. After Chong's arrest and imprisonment - more people than ever admire this man who sacrificed his personal freedom to protect his family from a govt. gone Big Brother.

It's interesting to hear Chong's history, too, and the discrimination he faced as a mixed race child.

1. I agree But
Friend this is really sad story of Chong .but can you notice that due to war on terror how much innocent Muslims are arrested and killed in USA and UK.They give price only for their religion .So these people need our attention.

2. all part of the same mindset
however, this is the drug policy forum and this video is about the way in which drug policy was enacted in one particular case.

there is more than one issue that needs attention - and this documentary is here for that reason.
