Austin PRIDE Festival 2011
Send them (US) positive vibes this weekend as we fight the fires around Austin

The 2011 PRIDE Festival will be held on Saturday, September 10th from 12pm to 6pm at Fiesta Gardens on the beautiful, shady shores of Ladybird Lake! (Map to Fiesta Gardens)

This year’s PRIDE Festival will have something for everyone! The Festival features performances by The BlueBonnets with Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go’s, Leslie & The Lys, Yo Majesty, Katey Red, Elephant, Oaktown’s 357, Cherie Lily, Ejector, Jacinta, DJs Realness and Mouthfeel, drag queens, and more!!

The event will also showcase over 100 LGBTQ friendly vendors, the Human Rights Campaign’s “On the Road to Equality” bus, a volleyball tournament, pet parade, games, and a kids’ area.

1. I used to help organize the March on Austin back in the '90's.
