Man didn't go to prison for 19th DUI conviction but gets 3 years for probation violation

Man didn't go to prison for 19th DUI conviction but gets 3 years for probation violation
Wow. The Associated Press reports that 65-year-old William Rylan Beall of Santa Rosa, California was sentenced yesterday to 3 years in prison for violating DUI probation...from his 19th lifetime DUI conviction! His first was from 1966. Also: "A pre-sentencing report shows that he had avoided a DUI conviction for nearly eight years until his arrest in the most recent incident in July."

At least (according to the AP) he hasn't injured or killed anyone else yet. Yet another repeat offender who slid through the waterfalls of justice finally lands on hardwood.
