A possible good side-effect of the Religious Right freaking out about
Schiavo -

If they're really getting pissed off at the REPUKES for not saving TS, then they might take their money away from funding the Repukes.

I know that it would be a stretch, but could you imagine the Repugs without the $$$$ that the Religious nutcases throw at them? The only money they'd really have left is the NRA and Tobacco. It wouldn't kill them, but it might put their case on a feeding tube . . .

A good end result of this whole debacle could be that the total nutcases might break off into a new "third party", and the country might get more moderate again . . .

would in and of itself go a long way.
