Urge you to check out Green Party bulletin on liberties and Patriot act.
Found at yesterday's Common Dreams' Web site. Green Party bulletin warns how our civil liberties are in peril under Bush's new Patriot act. Example. Right to Protest. According to this Green Party Bulletin. American's will be denied protesting in anything other than a pre-approved Secret Service security approved area. Within reason, this law could be reasonable, but it is not.
Certainly restrictions can be tolerated. But, this law says restrictions can be set up regardless of whether public officials are present or not. Violation of exceeding these security zones. A felony and you can be considered a terrorist. Five year sentence,I think
Recall Repug convention in New York. Security zone went as far as Central Park. What good is right to protest if Secret Service says you are out of town in a corn field 20 miles away. And they will. Please check out COmmon Dreams or Green party site for other aspects of this administration's Patriot Act, demanding you be silenced.

2. What part of "Congress shall make no law..." don't they get?
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Seems pretty clear to me.
