status on Bush's warrantless surveillance

I apologize for asking what may be a stupid question but I have been away from the computer and not able to follow recent news. Is it true that there will be no further hearings??? I have been completely out of the loop (I have a good excuse)... just a brief update on the subject would be appreciated.

i'm not sure. it's so sad, the Supreme Court is the only branch with any integrity left, the only branch trying to stop this unconstitutional wiretapping, and yet they have virtually no actual power...one of the judges actually said, though, to Adolf G- I mean, ALBERTO Gonzales, "Of COURSE, Mr. Gonzales. I forgot that you couldn't answer anything that might actually be revelant to this hearing." And I was just, like, yeah! He actually said it! :bounce:
