Goshen - The accused is a young-looking 13-year-old boy, with chubby cheeks, an 86 average on a recent report card and a clean record.

The main witness against him is also 13. During a pretrial hearing yesterday, the witness told a judge how an angry accusation escalated into a punch, then a stabbing at about 9:30 p.m. April 29 in Newburgh's East End.
