Still no civil rights board?

Like I said before, I've been on here a while. There used to be a combined civil rights / civil liberties board. Now there is only a civil liberties forum.

I have a few questions about this:

1) Why is this? Is there no one interested in civil rights on this board?

2) My civil rights have been violated repeatedly, especially since September 11th. You cannot have any civil liberties without civil rights. You are not free to exercise those liberties.

As the U. S. Code says,

"Section 241. Conspiracy against rights

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or
intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth,
Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any
right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of
the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same;

or

If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the
premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free
exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured -
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in
violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an
attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit
aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined
under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life,
or both, or may be sentenced to death.

I'm sure I'm not the only Democrat who has been harassed this way. I was driven out of my job by fraudsters making false claims and veiled threats toward me. Then someone at my former employer deleted me from the system (also illegal) and refused to release the twelve days of vacation pay I was legally owed, according to a letter from that college.

Now they are playing the same games tying my mother's money up. She won a suit and they promised her the money three weeks ago and now they are rescinding that. I can't get a job because Illinois unemployment is not co-operating, and they said they'd "adjudicate" my case and then they never called me back. Keep in mind that Payroll at my former employer told me that I wasn't even in their records!

I have no money for a lawyer, and no money to pay next months rent, and now these same corrupt people are harassing me through Amazon Marketplace.

I believe these people must be tied to the heroin trade and September 11th in some way, since their behavior escalated in a nasty and vicious manner right after that time.

To top it all off, my father was injured in a serious car crash, which wasn't an accident and in which he was not at fault. The Illinois State Police officer did not fill out the form in a legible manner so that we could seek REDRESS. Then, in March of 2005, someone behind me deliberately accelerated on Lake Shore Drive, crashing into me and propelling me into the middle of the drive. The perpetrators have not been held accountable to this date. Instead the harassment has escalated terribly, and I am sick much of the time.

I don't have the energy to fight for my money, and they know it. Another day, another painful sinus headache and more exhaustion. Columbia owed me and promised me this money by February 1st of 2006, and they have not delivered, in spite of the fact that the IDOL promised to look into it and in spite of my phone calls to Columbia.

My last day there, a supervisor locked me in an office and told me that I could not go home until my father came to get me. She did this after I repeatedly told her that my father was at work and could not come until about six or seven o'clock if at all. She locked me in this office at one or two in the afternoon!

I ran out of this office when the door was open, made it out into the street, and she had security follow me. I was scared of her and yet I was told that I could not enter the building without security following me. I was never threatening, I was protesting the threats and lies and forgeries I'd received from crooked sellers at Amazon Marketplace. I believe there is some racketeering against Amazon and against the individual Marketplace sellers and buyers and had been gathering information about that when the last incident occurred.

So, you see, I am a victim of organized crime. Organized crime is repeatedly violating my civil rights and the agencies and institutions that owe me money are co-operating.

I don't know what to do. I am at the end of my rope here. I don't know how I'm going to pay my rent, but what I really need is to escape from these people. I took the weekend off to see my parents and they harassed me in the supermarket parking lots. You see, they are limiting my freedom, and I'd like to ask what the civil libertarians are doing about this sort of thing.

1. But aren't they the same?
Or am I confused? What is the difference between civil rights and civil liberties? I thought they were one and the same.

3. Civil Rights, FBI spies & the NASD (as in NASDAQ)
An interesting little story is appearing on registeredrep.com - authored by former "The Street" writer Kristen French.

It seems that the FBI, with full blown assistance from the National Association of Securities Dealers, has been setting up fake "brokerages" for the last 11 years.

One such "brokerage" called "theinvestment-group.com" is totally scary. Although the FBI disabled the page links on the index page, the dumbutts left the "right click" feature engaged. So, all you have to do is right click, open the tab for " links" then paste the link into the address bar.

NASD has been sued in Wal Mart Circuit Court (Benton County Arkansaas) by some small pharmaceutical company that got shafted in some failed FBI "sting."

The scary thing about all that is this:

* The FBI has been soliciting business plans, personal bank records, trade secrets, etc for over a decade from unsuspecting dupes.

* Said dupes have never been told that they were really dealing with the FBI

* Nobody knows where all the collected information has gone - or why it was collected in the first place.

* The "market integrity" of the National Association of Securities Dealers is now toast. One has to wonder, if the NASD has been giving the FBI this kind of cover for a decade, does the NASD even know which "brokerages" out there are " real" and which ones are FBI fakes?

* Under what possible pretense of authority has the FBI been running this scam? Why? Who authorized it?

4th Circuit backs police search of journalist's Va. home

By The Associated Press
06.01.06

RICHMOND, Va. — A divided federal appeals court has ruled that there was nothing improper about a police search of a journalist and former congressional aide's home for videotape and still photos of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

The 2-1 decision by a 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel reversed U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III's ruling in a lawsuit by John Culbertson and the Arkansas Chronicle that the search of the journalist's home in Centreville, Va., was improper.

The appeals court majority ruled in Arkansas Chronicle v. Murphy that the search warrant was not overly broad, that there was probable cause to search the home, and that Fairfax County officers Robert J. Murphy and Steve Milefsky were entitled to immunity.

The court also rejected the Chronicle’s and Culbertson's argument that the First Amendment-protected nature of the materials sought should have limited the search.

Det. Mark Easley of the Oklahoma City police requested the search after learning that Culbertson, an employee in the Washington bureau of a small publication called the Arkansas Chronicle, might have video or still images of a truck exploding near the Oklahoma City federal building.

A defense attorney for bombing conspirator Terry Nichols had claimed that in 1998, Culbertson showed him the video and photos in the office of then-U.S. Rep. James Traficant, an Ohio Democrat later sent to prison for bribery, racketeering and tax evasion. Culbertson, an aide to Traficant, was a consultant in the investigation of the bombing.

From the only Democrat paper left in Arkansas:

Move over James Bond: FBI Issues the UK's Patrick Lochrie a "License to Steal"

by J.D. Capehart

BENTONVILLE, Arkansas (ACNN) June 20, 2006 - For decades, movie lovers have thrilled to the escapades of British spy James Bond. Licensed as “007,” Bond traveled the world, usually just one step ahead of the featured evil force, and always escaping death only by the skin of his teeth.

In the real world though the grit of life is rarely as glamorous. Witness the case of U.K. national Patrick Joseph Lochrie, born February 18, 1955 under a gloomy Irish mist, Lochrie moves in and out of the shadows of U.S. federal agencies who pay him to be “a dealmaker” according to several of his recent victims. While working either for or with the FBI, Lochrie has participated in a massive securities fraud spanning two continents.

As recently as May 10, 2006, Little Rock based FBI Special Agent Michael T. Patkus told a Rogers, Arkansas attorney that Lochrie was “law enforcement.” In a taped voice mail message several days later, Patkus told a businessman that Lochrie was “a federal agent.” Considering Lochrie’s business dealings publicly disclosed since 2003, Lochrie appears to be a man that the U.S Federal Bureau of Investigation has “licensed to steal.”

Lochrie’s involvement with the FBI is now apparently worrisome to the bureau. When U.S. Justice Department officials learned that inquiries were being made about Lochrie by the media, both Patkus and a U.S. Justice Department Criminal Division attorney Peter Loewenberg, based in Washington D.C., immeditaley contacted a Houston attorney, Charles Portz, and asked him to relay a message: if there were any more inquiries about Lochrie, reporters would be immediately arrested and jailed on "federal charges."

Both Loewenberg and Patkus remained unavailable for comment prior to publication. Inquiries to the FBI in Little Rock, Arkansas, where Patkus is based were not responded to. Earlier published reports from other publications said their Little Rock inquiries were referred to the Justice Department in Washington, D.C. Sources familiar with the apparent extortion try say the pair of Justice department employees are themselves now under internal scrutiny by the Justice Department.

The Justice Department's "Misfortune 500 Companies" . . .

Loewenberg is assigned to the Criminal Division in Washington. Sources there are mum about his duties other than to say he is a trial lawyer. Recently, Loewenberg left a message on his office voice mail describing him as "out of the office for the week, traveling with the team.”
