There is no subscription required. This online publication (you can receive the hard copy for a small donation) is well worth adding to your monthly reading list, especially if Church/State separation is an important issue to you.
It is non-denominational; part of the outreach/information arm of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, a non-profit organization. LINK AT BOTTOM OF POST
