When did I lose the ability to remember titles of books and movies?

Well, I haven't entirely. But I just tried to remember the title of a book I'm listening to and I can't
remember it.

(Posted this in the Lounge but had only one response. Lounge must be populated with a majority of whippersnappers.)

2. It sneaks up on you
You go into a room and forget for a moment why you dashed in there.

I don't worry about it too much because often I can remember the names of obscure actors, movies and characters.

So long as you don't forget to keep reading and being interested in stuff. :pals:

4. haven't snapped a whipper in quite awhile myself
and I know what you mean.
I read somewhere that your memory just keeps loading up, so as you go to recall stuff there is just so much more to go through every day.
I have been storing up for 60+ years. There are some memories from yesterday that have been put behind stuff from 40 years ago.
Sometimes I can't move that old memory out of the way to find the new one.

6. Probably around the time I did. I read everything I can but
ask me 10 minutes later what the title was, or who the author was and I feel like a moron.
I don't really know if this is because of my age or whether those factors don't mean that much to me.
Sometimes I'm in the middle of a 700 page book and can't even remember the title.(like right now!)

8. Wait a second while I go look. Oh yea,
The Fourth Estate by Jeffrey Archer. Only 550 pages worth of reading..still had to get the book to check the title, I'm only up to page 444. Not long enough time to remember.

Why am I admitting this?

10. Have the same problem, but attribute it to not paying
much attention to the title or author. However,
i can still tell you the whole story, so that must count
for something.:) Am in my mid eighties and still an
avid reader. Most of it on my e reader since i can
control the font size and light for my old eyes.
Hang in there...we all have a bit of memory problems
but still have a wealth of knowledge and experience
to share (that is is anyone will listen)......z
