Video series "Why Do People Laugh at Creationists?"
http://www.youtube.com/user/Thunderf00t#p/c/AC3481305829426D/0/BS5vid4GkEY

I just watched the first four. Mind-boggling displays of ignorance.

I did the math for #3. Some idiot is talking about an ice planet swinging by into the solar system and breaking up, depositing all kinds of ice around the planets and onto the North and South Poles.

The video uses a 200km³ cube of ice impacting at cometary velocities... I got an impact energy release of 111 megatons.

Per human being on planet Earth.

Oh, man...

1. I Just Watched The First Four...................
.............and I want to tear my hair out. What is really maddening is that when you look off to the right, you'll see a bunch of webcam "response" videos with Average Joe Bible-Basher trying to disprove science.

I really don't know how anyone can continue to cite the Bible as evidence for anything when the science is so clear. One point I was hoping Thunderf00t would make is when that one wacko started talking about Noah and the Ark, I was hoping he'd mention the SCIENTIFIC FACT that even if you accept the idea that the Ark was built according to the specifications in the Bible, you couldn't even get every species of BEETLE onto it, let alone two of EVERY species.

Oh, and it looks like there are way more than 4 videos (one of them said Part 26), but I don't think I can take much more.

5. Hey, nonbeliever... when the Bible says pi=3
and the "scientists" say it's "about" equal to 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288, I know who I'M going to believe!

9. but pi is 3
it all depends upon precision...

For some lolz: http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/2009/06/08/contradictions-as-easy-as-pi

On a physics test, if a circle is said to have a diameter of 10 feet and the student is asked to compute the circumference, the correct answer is 30 feet—not 31 feet. The reason 31 feet is an incorrect answer is because it implies a precision that is unwarranted by the given information. The value 10 feet indicates that the diameter has been rounded. Perhaps it has been rounded up from the exact value of 9.5 feet, in which case the exact circumference would be 29.845. . . feet—which rounds up to 30 feet.

3. Oh, scientific elitists with all their facts.
Don't they realize that scientific concepts are only useful to be taken out of context of one another and twisted to support a religious ideology?
