http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=3476730&mesg_id=3476730I kept thinking this would garner attention, and get the replies it deserves. Unfortunately, it's sinking... Please not only K&R, but file this for the useful info! Thanks!

3. It's to a group of college students. |
|
"civic engagement" fellows from a local university. One of the interns in one of our local offices is a fellow, and she asked me to speak. It's a great project that gives college students some $ which allows them to work for a non-profit and get some $ at the same time.

4. That sounds great! In his latest book, Jim Wallis says that he believes it's the next |
|
generation who will be turning around the issue of poverty, so you are right where you need to be!
I'll be anxious to hear how it goes!
Oh, and the book is "The Great Awakening", by Jim Wallis.

7. Has he finished the book report yet? |
|
:) :) :)
I hope he enjoys it. There is a lot in there. For me, it's not as good as "Faith Works", but there are reasons for that. Different strokes and all that.
In this latest, Wallis says basically that this generation is a mess and probably hopeless, and change will come from the next generation.
My interpretation, of course.
