The Facts About Eating Animal Products...
...This page, from Road's End Organics, is a good quick reference to send or show to anyone interested on the topic of animal vs. plants. I've copied it to my scrapbook for future reference... http://www.chreese.com/veganism.itml

1. Good DU VVAR Forum project:
Find a viable link that proves up every claim on that page. What a find, Robeson, fantastic.

Some are probably going to be impossible, but still. The ones that would be easy would be great references for the future.

Anyone else interested?

2. It says it was written by John Robbins, author of "Diet for a New America"...
...I'd be interested to know if what he outlines is in that book. If so, I'm sure he has it footnoted with sources. I think I'll check it out at the library and see.

3. I'll pull my copy, too.
I just know, from...you know, experience, that if one is going to say ANY of those things, one MUST have a link.

4. No doubt, we have to have all our p's and q's in order...
...while the flat earthers we debate, can say anything they want. If anyone needs an example of a flat earther, just listen to a Canadian official about the seal hunt...

5. You know it.
I think we have the start of something big here, though.

6. There is another document linked above...
entitled "101 Reasons Why I'm a Vegetarian (2007)" which is downloadable as a .pdf which includes much of the same information, as well as references, most from "reputable" sources like the NY Times, Reuters, National Geographic, and The Economist.

http://www.vivavegie.org/vvi/pdf/101reas2007.pdf

References are in an end-note format, one for each of the 101 reasons.
