Does anyone know why some cd's will not play on my Powerbook, |
|
I just bought my new Powerbook a couple of months ago and am setting up my iTunes, and it spits out some of my cd's, am I doing something wrong, or could there be something wrong with the cd's, even though they play on my stereo.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

1. I've read that some copy protected CDs won't play on any computers. |
|
Have you tried them on any other computer?

3. Always look on the case before you buy. They should alert you. |

I have taken CD's back because they didn't work on my computer. I got my money back. I just told them my computer is my sound system. If it won't play on my computer, it is useless, it is defective.

4. Me too. I just burned copy on my Yamaha CD deck. |
|
And popped the copy into my powerbook instead. Works fine. Copy protection sounds logical, except for "Automatic for the People" -REM. Seems kind of old a disc to be rejected like that. Blondie's "Curse of Blondie" from 2004 worked fine in my computer.
I know mine has a real hard time reading scratched ones.
