Thought I'd start my question the way my mom does. Anyhoo, I've got a little problem here.
Running 10.5.3, just this past week I noticed, all of a sudden, that the apple-` (to switch between active windows in things) stopped working. It just beeps at me when I try it (in, say, Firefox 3.0.4).
Today, I tried a screen capture from the finder (apple-shift-3) and it did the same thing -- didn't work, and beeped at me.
What the heck? Any ideas?

2. First thing must be to check keyboard prefs |
|
Open system preferences, select 'keyboard and mouse', go to the 'keyboard' tab, and hit 'modifier keys'. If, somehow, the action of the command key has been changed in this, it could have the effect you describe.
