Does anyone recommend a printer for mac? I currently have a Canon Pixma |
|
and have to replace the ink everytime I use it, which is not often.
I want a new printer which includes a fax, has a decent enough dpi, and that doesn't dry out every two months.
Any suggestions? :hi: I would greatly appreciate it.

1. Get one with pigment inks. Photos last much longer than dyes. |
|
I use Epson, but Kodak makes a nice AIO with reasonable priced cartridges. Both Epson and Kodak use pigment inks. HP uses dyes.

2. I use Epson too. The R2400. I'm sure there's a new model out that supersedes it too... |
|
And there's a lower-end model that does 8.5x11" paper only (the R2400 doing 13x19 and banner paper too)

3. What's your price point? Do you need color? |
|
You can get a color laser for a few hundred. No worry ever about dried out ink.
Keep this in mind about ink jets: The printers are cheap because the money is in the ink.
