(how?) Can I teather my ipod touch to my phone for internet? |
|
My phone (Sony Xperia) has internet, and bluetooth. I have internet sharing software that can either share over USB (for my netbook) or bluetooth. I have mated my phone and pod together, but I don't know if/how I can share internet between them. It might be nicer to use the ipod for internet on the train than my phone (both do an adequate job, but im a super geek LOL) when I cant set up my netbook. (i did mention im a geek LOL)
The other reason is some of the games, etc, are internet dependant, etc. and I'm jsut curious how far I can abuse my ipod.
I have a nice sony bluetooth sony headset with mic that i can use with the ipod i think (havent tried yet) so I can go super geek!
thoughts?

but I don't do it on mine. I don't want to... break anything and risk hackers meddling with it as a possible outcome.

2. Well you set it to not broadcast for one, and make the passcode longer than worthwhile to crack |

but yeah, I usually don't like to have bluetooth on. if I do it's never available to others.
There are a couple websites that works better on the ipod than my phone (X1)
However, there are also sites that work better on my phone than the ipod, go figure.
both have their advantages (but I will NEVER buy a win mobile ever again, it's Simian, or android next for me!)
