Mac users, I need some help!! |
|
My family has an iMac G5 that we bought a few years ago and it has worked great for us. The problem we are having is tha when we put the computer to sleep at night, in the morning, we cannot get the computer to start. To remedy this, I have been shutting it down and it starts up fine.
Now, a new problem has come up. When I first start up the computer and try to connect to the internet, the computer will not connect. I have to shut the computer down, unplug the computer, plug it back in, start it up and then it will connect to the internet.
I have researched a bunch of forums but have not really found a fix for this problem. If anyone has any suggestions for me as to how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate them.
Thanks!

2. You probably gotta give more info: |
|
Which iMac G5? What OS? Were all updates installed? What type of internet access? What related hardware? Have you double-checked settings?
The descriptions might suggest, say, SMU or PRAM issues. But I'm no expert

do your software updates. I seem to recall that some were having trouble emerging from sleep- this was fixed.
