Don't know when or now but it's not there anymore.
I refer to the little (red) < and > turnpaging icon on the top left side of the screen.
Now... to go back a page .... I have to go to "history", drop down, and click "back".
Oh the humanity. Ok, it's not the Johnstown Flood or Wounded Knee but it does hold one back quite a bit.
It's a Mac Pro notebook laptop, BTW.
Help?

1. Which browser? If it's Safari, right click in the chrome and you'll be able to customize |
|
your tool bar by dragging icons. Lots of other browsers admit similar customization

Another Q: How does one right click w. a mousepad? ( I think I learned this at the get go ...when i bought the damn thing in the fall....... but can't seem to remember .)

have to wander into Preferences to enable; what you can do probably depends on exactly which Macbook you have and how old it is You can find stuff like this by websearch: Enable Right Click on Mac Book Pro or Powerbook http://www.noheat.com/2007/06/19/enable-right-click-on-mac-book-pro-or-powerbook/

5. Tap the trackpad with two fingers at the same time, that will do a secondary click/tap. |
|
In the default config, swiping three fingers to the left goes to the previous page in Safari, three fingers to the right goes forward. I'm using a Magic Trackpad with my Mac Pro and I love it.
