Is anyone watching the Next Food Network Star on Sundays? |
|
I watch it. I didn't think I would watch it again after last year. Last year was a sham with the judges laughing at the contestants and making fools of them. This year is quite different. I do hope this Aarti wins - she cooks Indian food. I really want to cook Indian food - just the basics to begin and go on from there. Indian food is very healthy not the same old foods just cooked in another unhealthy way.

I like Aarti and that guy who calls himself "the professional chef" but I can't remember his name. He won't win though.

3. Aarti doesn't just cook Indian food |
|
she cooks western favorites with an Indian flair and it seems to work most of the time.
I have a feeling she'll lead again.

4. I hope you are correct on Aarti |
|
Finally someone who can cook something different - she needs to have confidence in herself. I don't know about this confidence thing though - that will improve as she has her own show. I think the judges are making to much of that. I am just happy Brianna is not there anymore. She was an excellent cook but her personality was horrible.

5. I'm glad a few of them aren't there any more |
|
and have pretty much agreed with who has been sent home.
Aarti is the one who keeps me tuning in, though. Her stuff is always unexpected and exciting and sounds absolutely delicious. Her take on cooking is one that has been missing on TV chef shows for a long time.

6. My favorite is Aarti also. |
|
I am not a big fan of Indian cuisine, but I just love her personality!
I also really like Herb, but he wears his emotions on his sleeve. I hope he can get his stuff together. Brad is a little cutie pie, but too shy for TV I think.
I'm blanking on the other ones just now - apparently forgettable.

Possibly for the same reason so many vote in polls on DU. (I do occasionally, don't know if you do or not). Many folks just seem to like to vote for things... just a way of expressing an opinion, perhaps.
