What's for Dinner? ~ Friday Dec 2
Grasswires comfort food dinner last night made me want something familiar and easy to make tonight. I've been jumping through hoops to get a new pain med approved and am already worn out! :)

So for me it will most likely be Chicken and Dumplings or Meatloaf w/ Potatoes and Green Beans. (And some sort of yummy veggie burrito for lunch)

What's cooking where you are?

1. Party food, all the time. Days on end....
We'll probably make soft tacos from the chilorio that is just finished, cooling in the sauce right now. Otherwise, I'm too pooped to think of planning a different kind of meal today. Last night we went to the pub and had meatloaf. Had leftovers from that for breakfast. :hi:

6. Mr. Pup came in after his class in NYC this afternoon
so he had the last of the meatloaf in a sandwich. I just had a little serving of leftover grits with chilorio over it. Now, that was satisfying! Too bad that you are still dragging around. Hope your energy comes back full force soon!

8. Thankie sweetie! I really wussed out - just had spinach and sloppy joes
Easy to cook, and i was hoping the "spicy" would kill whatever this sinus thing is, that has been tormenting me.

5. We know people who won't ask for a doggie bag!

They seem to think its rude...

We can eat for days sometimes on leftovers from a restaurant meal. Yummm meatloaf!

7. Most restaurants pile on the portions that for me
are much too much to eat in one sitting. The meatloaf special last night came with three (3!!) slices, so I had one slice at the restaurant, split the salad with hubby and brought home half of the mashed potatoes and carrots. I love a breakfast like that. Kept me going all day, too! :hi:

2. Friday is leftovers...
We cleared out the fridge before Thanksgiving. Then I cooked again all week. Each man for himself!
