this FoodSaver gadget at K-Mart (also readily available from their site)



It's rechargeable and gives a much better vacuum and more reliable seal than the Handi-Vac ever did. As usual, the bags aren't as cheap as I'd like, but they are sturdy.

And FoodSaver probably won't be getting out of the business any time soon.

3. We have the Foodsaver. I also have a HandiVac and still have some bags.

I far prefer the Foodsaver. We use it a lot. In fcat, I have some meat from Costco that I need to do today.

The Handivac worked far better than the little Ziploc version. But I can't find the bags anymore and don't really want a bigger machine. I'll have to check this out. Thanks!
